Amsterdam Dance Event closes its anniversary program at more than 3,600 artists, with Martin Garrix, Pete Tong and Len Faki among the last additions.

ADE Pro’s final additions put Armin van Buuren in a cross-generational conversation on music and machines with Jean-Michel Jarre, Lady Starlight and JakoJako. They also hand the Insider Knowledge sessions to Spotify, SoundCloud, YouTube Music and NVIDIA. Three of those four are platforms where DJs post mixes and releases, so the sessions are a chance to hear from them directly.

Afrojack, Mau P, Max Cooper, HoneyLuv, Joseph Capriati and Reinier Zonneveld add further artist perspectives. A dedicated ’30 Years of ADE’ panel, moderated by Dave Clarke, looks back at how the event grew from 300 delegates and three venues in 1996.

The final wave of the festival lineup takes the total past 3,600 artists. A second announcement had already pushed it beyond 1,500. The new names are Martin Garrix, Armand Van Helden, Pete Tong, Jamie Jones, Boys Noize, Marlon Hoffstadt, Hannah Laing, SHERELLE, DJ Tennis, Gerd Janson, Len Faki, Speedy J and Dax J, with Charlotte Adigéry, Djrum and Chris Stassy b2b Job Jobse also in. Mau P is on the lineup as well as the Pro bill.

The anniversary centers on the 30 YEARS ADE Icon Series, thirty events reflecting on electronic music’s legacy and future. It includes Boris Acket’s EINDER with the Royal Concertgebouw Orchestra and Elias Mazian, and Swan Lake Remixed for ADE with Dutch National Ballet and ISH Dance Collective at the Gashouder.

Arts & Culture spreads across museums, churches and record stores. ‘DISCO I’m coming out’ is at Wereldmuseum Amsterdam, and Colin Benders and Othernode are at Fabrique des Lumières.

Jarre, the Guest of Honour, marks 50 years of Oxygene at AFAS Live and also gives an exclusive keynote interview at ADE Pro. The full program is on the ADE website.
