Bloc is back for one 16-hour night at The Cause in March 2027
Jeff Mills headlines, with Leftfield, British Murder Boys, Egyptian Lover and Miss Djax also on the bill.
Bloc is returning for a one-off 20th anniversary party. The promoter takes over London’s The Cause on March 6, 2027 for 16 hours, with the programming spread across several rooms. The Quietus reported that Jeff Mills has the headline slot, with British Murder Boys, Leftfield, Egyptian Lover and Miss Djax also confirmed.
That is a lot of slots to fill, and the announced bill already uses some of them in pairs. DJ Storm plays back-to-back with Tasha, Tama Sumo with Lakuti, and Steve Davis with Kavus Torabi. Four promoters, I Love Acid, Plex, Chapter 10 and Telepathic Fish, will each host a takeover, so a good part of the night will be curated by crews with their own followings rather than by Bloc alone.
Bloc started in 2007 at Pontin’s holiday park in Hemsby-on-Sea and spent its original run staging underground electronic acts at holiday parks around the UK. The last edition was in 2016 at Butlin’s in Minehead. This time it is a single London club rather than a weekend away.
More acts will be added to the bill in the coming months.
