Amnesia’s 50th closing party added a car-park stage and a new dancefloor

Capriati, Groove Armada and Enzo Siragusa played the anniversary closing festival, which also turned El Taller, a hidden former VIP bar, into a dancefloor for the first time.

Amnesia Ibiza turned its car park into an outdoor stage for the first time to close its 50th anniversary season. The closing festival, covered by Mixmag, opened the outdoor area at 5 PM with Luca Donzelli playing a house-led set in front of a black pyramid, a nod to the club’s Sunday party series, and an enormous LED screen. Joseph Capriati, who brought his Metamorfosi residency to the club for 2026, took the sunset slot. Groove Armada went back-to-back with Max Dean to close the outdoor stage.

Inside, the Main Room stayed on techno with Deborah De Luca, Klangkuenstler and, again, Donzelli, who ended the programme at 11 AM, 18 hours after he opened the outdoor area. On the Terrace, Max Dean played his second b2b of the night with Sidney Charles. Enzo Siragusa and Saoirse took over at sunrise, and their set included DJ Rolando’s ‘Knights of the Jaguar’, the unofficial Amnesia anthem.

Capriati and Josh Baker played the final set of the 2026 season, running until early afternoon. Baker, from Manchester, had just completed his first full 14-week Ibiza residency at the club. Space Ibiza founder Pepe Roselló joined them in the booth at the end, a moment that linked generations of Ibiza clubbing. Space’s own 2016 Closing Fiesta had also used its car park for an open-air event.

The surprise of the night was El Taller, a former VIP bar in the oldest part of the building, between the Main Room and the Terrace. It had never been used as a dancefloor before. The room is around 10 meters long and has no phone signal. Residents Franco Moiraghi, Jason Bye and Les Schmitz played classics from Tiga, New Order and Inner City, and Schmitz kept going until well past 10 AM. “It was magical,” he said afterward.
