The direct-drive decks, in standard and Silver versions, are aimed at entry-level DJs and are available now.
Reloop has introduced the RP-2000 MK4 and RP-2000 MK4 Silver, direct-drive turntables aimed at entry-level DJs. The German company’s decks are available now in the US through American Music & Sound.
Both run at 33-1/3 and 45 RPM, with a plus/minus 8-percent pitch range and a center-click detent. The platter is die-cast aluminum. The statically balanced S-shaped tonearm has a universal SME connection, anti-skating and adjustable tracking force. An Ortofon OM Black cartridge comes pre-mounted on the headshell. A reinforced chassis and shock-absorbing feet curb vibration, feedback and skipping needles. More at reloop.com.
