Beatport Next 2027 is taking applications until November 6

The year-long program has run since 2021 and gives selected artists editorial coverage, performance opportunities and label support.

Beatport has opened applications for Beatport Next 2027, its development program for emerging DJs and producers from any country.

Selected artists get editorial and feature coverage on Beatport’s website and social channels, live event and festival performance opportunities, industry panel talks and brand partnerships. Alumni also get support from Beatport’s label and marketing divisions on their releases, labels and wider music projects.

The alumni list includes two-time Mercury Prize nominee Nia Archives and former Mixmag cover star TSHA, along with Lou Nour and Ma Sha. Lou Nour says Beatport Next gave “the platform and confidence to push my sound further, from spotlighting my music to supporting live shows in various cities.” Ma Sha calls it “an incredible support for my music, helping me reach audiences both online and in real life,” citing features, interviews and the chance to perform at the Beatport “The Block” Stage.

The Class of 2027 will be announced in January.
